FreightCake is free to access. You pay when you ship. No monthly platform fee to start. Our pricing is built into the rates you quote and book.
Do I need a platform UI to use FreightCake?
No. FreightCake is API-first. The platform UI is included with every plan, but you can build entirely on the API and skip it.
Is the API documented?
Yes — full reference with examples, sandbox keys, and webhook payloads. Most integrations ship in a day.
Do you charge per carrier connection?
Never. All live carrier integrations are included — you don’t pay per carrier.
What if I bring my own carrier accounts?
Customers using their own carrier accounts may have separate platform or usage pricing depending on setup and volume. Talk to us and we’ll work it out.
When does metered billing go live?
Metered billing is in development. Until it ships, all customers run on beta pricing — usage is tracked but not billed. We give 30 days notice before any charges.
